How our data works
SimplyFind Mental Health organizes publicly available provider-directory information from the National Plan and Provider Enumeration System (NPPES), published by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

Public NPPES source records
NPPES makes certain FOIA-disclosable provider-record data available through CMS under federal administrative-simplification and data-dissemination rules. We use that public source context to organize names, NPI identifiers, taxonomy information, and listed practice-location details into a searchable directory.
Directory data is refreshed on a recurring schedule, but source records and real-world practice information can change between refreshes.
What an NPI record does not establish
An NPI is a healthcare-provider identifier. By itself, an NPI record does not prove current state licensure, credentials, appointment availability, insurance acceptance, clinical quality, or suitability for an individual’s needs.
Visitors should confirm current details directly with the provider, the appropriate licensing board, and—when relevant—their health plan.
How to request a correction
If a listing appears incorrect, please send the provider name, NPI when available, page link, and a concise description of the concern. We review reports, and providers should also update NPPES where the source record needs correction.
